Just found an amazing calculator for pyramids such as TARDIS roofs. It’s at https://www.blocklayer.com/pyramid-calculator. All you need is the bottom length of one of the four panels and your intended slope. That’s it. It gives you all the measurement and hip angles to cut so you get a tight neat join. They even tell you how to cut it. So relieved. I don’t have to relearn trig.

Good find!  We used to have one of these on this site.  And another for calculating angles for a console.  Sadly, we lost them back when the board had to be rebuilt.

The angles worked perfectly on my build. Still requires careful measurement and table saw finesse but it fits perfectly.
