2010 The Lodger "upstairs" Interior

I just finished watching the Confidential that goes with the lodger and looking again at

It seems to me that the

Time Rotor

was constructed using 6 upright fluorescent strip lights.
And though I have said before that

I wasn't going to build a console because of space constraints and money e.t.c...

Seeing that style kind of makes me want to, I don't know why I just found that to be an interesting way of building one.
Especially if you made the lights flash so that the light appeared to be spinning around and had a collar

like on the old NST that raised and lowered, not even moving the lights but just going up and down the lights on its own

Just got me thinking.
I'll probably never get around to it but if I do ever start something like that I think I would build a complete custom one using fluorescent lights in that way.
